Review: IMJU Fiberwig Mascara

What it is formulated to do:
Engineered to create the perfect lashes with twice the amount of micro-fine interconnecting fibers, the instant drying formula creates a long lasting film coat around your natural lashes. Fiberwig imparts a perfect, smudge-proof maximum lash extension effect with a water-resistant formula that's easy to remove with warm water, without risking damaging or losing your natural lashes.

  • Made in Japan
  • Contains tiny fibers that attach onto the real lashes
  • Packaging: 5/5
  • Price: $13.00 - $24, depending on where it's purchased
  • Would I purchase again? Yes!
  • Availability: eBAY & Sephora
  • Overall Rating: 4.5/5
PROS
  • Does not smudge!
  • Removing is simple and does no leave traces of mascara behind.
  • Lengthens
  • Doesn't clump
CONS
  • Fibers flake just a little
  • Fibers can irritate eyes if not careful
  • Doesn't give the "false lash look" like it claims
The first mascara that does not smudge on me, and not to mention removing it is a cinch. I always hated how I could never get other mascaras completely off my lashes no matter how much make-up remover/cleanser I used; it'd always leave me with raccoon eyes after the wash. With this mascara, all you need is warm water. Wet your fingertips and gently massage your lashes; the mascara comes right off. (At first, you might even think it looks like your real lashes.) I was pretty entertained the first time I removed it. LOL This mascara does lengthen, but not crazily. (At least, not with 2 coats.) It does tend to flake after a few hours, but there won't be any smudges from the flakes like regular mascaras.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!

Calling all Yiruma Fanboys & Girls

If you haven't already heard, Yiruma released his mini album titled "Movement On A Theme" TODAY!

Tracklist:

2. 너에게 보낸 내 마음 (My Heart Sent to You)
3. 슬픔, 물 위에 잠들다 (Sadness, Sleeping Over Water)
4. 너의 마음속엔 강이 흐른다 (River Flows In You) (Vocal. Ruvin)

The last track is complete love! Been waiting for a vocal version of River Flows In You for so long. (An official one, that is.) Anyone notice all the vocal versions of the song written by Twilight fans? LOL Since it's "Bella's Lullaby". @____@

Nails are nice. <3

Wheee ~ hi girls. (: Finally found the time a blog. (Kinda, I should be working on my religious project.) T__T This will be a quick entry on my nails at the moment and the fake nails I bought from Yuki a couple weeks ago.

My mom did my nails. They are acrylic nails painted with a really light pink tip with pink polka dots and a silver lining.

The nails I bought from Yuki. They're adorable! Can't wait to purchase more when her shop re-opens. (:

Review: Clinique Sun SPF 30 Face Cream

What it is formulated to do:
Innovative SolarSmart technology stabilizes high-level protection against the aging and burning effects of UVA and UVB rays. Triggers a repair that helps prevent signs of aging. With solar-activated antioxidants that help prevent visible damage. Gentle enough for sensitive skins. Dermatologist tested. Oil-free.

  • Size: 1.5 ounce
  • Packaging: 5/5
  • Price: $17.50
  • Would I purchase again? Yes (:
  • Availability: Clinique Counters ( @ Macy's, Dillards ), Online
  • Overall Rating: 3/5
PROS
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Moisturizing
  • Good price.
CONS
  • Greasy
The biggest reason why I didn't like this sunscreen was because it was so greasy on me. I bought it reading the reviews that said that is was non-greasy. This sunscreen might work better for those with drier skin, but for those with oily skin, it might just make you look like a grease ball. Nonetheless, it's an okay sunscreen for the price and amount of product you get. I use it on my neck and chest instead of my face since it's too oily looking for me. I gave this product a three and deducted two points for the greasyness since I can't stand any product that makes me face look oily than it already is. ]:

Review: Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55 PA+++

What it is formulated to do:
This sunscreen is specifically designed for the face to defend against powerful UVA/UVB rays which cause sunburn, cell damage, dryness, roughness, and premature signs of aging such as fine lines. Formulated with the retexturizing ingredient Xylitol to counteract roughness and keep skin looking soft and healthy and with the antioxidant Thiotaurine, the cream can be easily applied and absorbs quickly, leaving no visible white residue or trace of stickiness. Extremely water- and perspiration-resistant, the cream is PABA-free.
  • Size: 2 ounce
  • Packaging: 5/5
  • Price: $34
  • Would I purchase again? Yes (:
  • Availability: Macy's, Sephora, etc.
  • Overall Rating: 5/5
PROS
  • It really does absorb quickly and is non-sticky.
  • For some reason, makes my face matte and slightly controls oil. o_o"
  • Does not break me out.
  • High level of sun protection.
  • Need only a small amount to cover face.
CONS
  • Leaves a white cast on me.
  • A tad bit pricey.
  • Not really moisturizing, although it doesn't claim that.
Overall I like this product. Mainly because it mattes out my face and doesn't make me feel oily like past sunscreens. (: It's strange because usually when sunscreens have a high level of sun protection, the more oily it gets. I can't comment on the water-resistant part because I haven't tested that out yet. As for the white cast, when first applied, it is very visible, but it sets in after a while and darkens up into my skin color, although the cast still stays a little bit. This white cast will probably differ from people to people; since my mom also uses this sunscreen but it does not look like there is a white cast on her. This is probably because she is a lot paler than I am. (I'm a NC 30, probably a tad bit darker now because it's summer.) All and all, if you have the extra bucks to splurge, check out this sunscreen.
